Repair and Restoration work
Please book an appointment to visit to my workshop if your instrument requires repair. During your visit, we can inspect the instrument together and discuss the extend of work you would like me to undertake.
While I can give an initial quote, please note that this is subject to change as there might be unforeseen issues discovered during the process.
Commission an Instrument
To initiate the commissioning process we can arrange an appointment to discuss detailed specifications regarding the type of instrument, desired materials, special features, and any other requirements you have in mind.
I offer a variety of instruments for different types of music, such as classical, baroque, and folk. Each instrument is made to meet musicians' specific needs and preferences.
Pricing
Base prices
Violin: £5.000+
Viola: £6.000+
Cello: £12.000+
This is the starting price for a custom-made instrument. The total cost will change based on the type of wood, strings, fittings, and decorations chosen.
Add decorative carving or inlays

Head carvings: from £1300
Pegbox relief carvings: from £400, or £20 an hour
Decorative purfling inlays: from £200, or £20
The additional costs for decorative work will be added to the base price.
